Tortillas are nestled in an envelope‒style pouch made from re‒purposed denim (technically called pre‒consumer upcycled jeans, which is the fashion industry's fancy way of saying "scraps" or extras from the cuttings), recycled cotton sari fabric, and a light tan cotton cloth. The blue jean piping adds a gorgeous detail between the contrasting denim and sari sides of this festive pouch. (Due to the use of reclaimed saris, patterns and colors vary, which makes each, one‒of‒a‒kind.) The star of the show is the round whitewashed terracotta insert which you place in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10 minutes to keep your tortillas nice and toasty during serving.
